Yes I’m Still Alive and Well

Ok, yes I know it’s been a near on two months since my last post. I like everyone else have loads of excuses of course that I will not even go into as to why I have not posted on my personal blog that only merely shadows the actual money make maker of Ja Kel Daily the “Entertainment” section.

Today I have been told that I must make a complete effort to post at minimal one post per month to my personal blog. I will try I promise, maybe even more than one post per month.

So, before the wreck occurred I was on the job market looking for my next job since my current contract was near on expiring and I am happy to say now that I have secured and started my new position as an Information Manger in Europe, good for three more years “possibility of 5”. Oh, almost forgot to mention the best thing about my new job is that I have finally made it into the 6 digit annual income bracket!

What else is going on well we have also just started the proceedings of our second international home purchase and are now the proud owners of two homes, getting ready to rent the first home out. In the middle of the real estate negotiations I have also been debating back and forth about buying a Macbook or another XPS and I ended up buying the XPS so now we own the M1210 and the M1330. The 13 inch notebook is the only way to go in my opinion and if you’re wondering why I turned away from the Mac it was because I have programs that only run on windows and I did not want the hassle of installing windows on a Mac just for a little change – maybe another day who knows.

Last but not least our new Landrover has just arrived in Germany late as I expected since all dealerships lie to you on the actual shipment times. Will post some pictures soon of the new LR2 and maybe some pictures of Leeds England since I will be over there next week!

Also, incase your wondering what book I’m currently reading it’s called Click “What millions of people are doing online”, I’m on chapter five at the moment. It’s an easy reading book very informative and I’m loving it. After telling a few colleagues about it one guy told me he purchased the iPod version of it which I’ve never thought about checking out before because he’sable to listen to a chapter a day on the way to work and on the way home.

Thanks for all the comments from the true readers and to the people that are just using me for a link back to their site.

I know what you mean. Sometimes you go ages without doing a blog post because you have so much else going on in your life meaning your readers no longer know where you are.

    Good to have you back!

That’s good to hear you are doing okay and making 6 figures now.

Btw, I read the “Click” book couple weeks ago, great book with lots of good insights. I am also writing a book called “Search”, which partly inspired by reading the “Click”. You can check out my progress here: http://zedomax.biz

I know how it feels to have too much to do and too little time to do it in. Especially when it comes to blogging on a personal blog. I find that the blogs that make me the most money will always be the once that get the most attention and that will often leave my personal blog stranded 🙂

I must say you are so lucky for having been able to secure a new job before the old one expired. You have a lot of foresight, which I think every one of us should have. You didn’t just think and worry about the coming of future problems–you acted out to prevent them. I really admire that kind of thinking. It’s 2009 now. I hope everything’s going well with your new job.

  22. goacom says:

You are alive and that was good news. But that was last year. one hopes that your resolutions of last year are not desolutions for this year . You need to be alive for the following reasons
    (1) do follow link – it is a rare species. we need you.
    (2) You owe it to yourself. You live only once
    (3) your 6 digit annual income needs to get itself to the bank
    (4) After you said bye to Mac, XPS will feel cheated if you disappear

And if all that wasnt enough reason we want to know which book is the bestseller nowadays.

  23. Dawn says:

    Welcome back!

Sometimes it’s hard to keep up with blogs and keep them going. I tried to set 1 day a week to blog, but it’s hard. Sometimes I feel like I’m just pushing myself to do it and then it’s lackluster content.

But now you could also stop spending those money and come back to write something on this blog… 😉

  28. Get a Government Grant- Up To $100,000 says:

I find it quite funny that when bloggers who have been gone for a long time write post about how long its been since they last posted anything. In the future, I would probably write a REALLY long and informative post and let the writing speak for itself. But I do like your blog:)

  29. Tnomeralc Web Design Toys says:

It affected me when you said linking back. But I just want you to know some bloggers could’ve at least made an effort of writing a good comment. 🙂

I’ll keep up reading your blogs. Thanks. 🙂

Welcome back. It’s difficult to keep up with regular posting after a while on blogs – your initial fountain of ideas kind of runs a bit dry.

By the way – I’m an XPS M1330 user too. Love it to bits – but it’s not the most reliable of beasts – has a tendency to overheat and a known motherboard problem.

  41. Jacques | Website Design says:

I am sad to see that yet again there is no new posts on this blog. I think that everybody who logs on from now on should start actively petitioning for some new material to disseminate. Come on then, please!

That’s true you said about mac.

The reason a lot of people turn away is because of the applications they want , most of them are not mac compatible. so, they have to go for some other brands in the market. but, nowadays, Intel based Mac helps a lot.
