The Idea a Blog Community Gazette
Blogozette.com an idea I came up with some time back by joining the words blogosphere and gazette. A social network blog community gazette.
Blogosphere is a collective term encompassing all blogs and their interconnections. It is the perception that blogs exist together as a connected community (or as a collection of connected communities) or as a social network.
“Gazette“, by extension, has come to be used as the name of mainstream newspapers. The word comes from gazzetta, a Venetian coin used to buy early Italian newspapers; the coin became a name for the papers themselves.
Unfortunately, I never had enough time to go forth with the idea and have sat on the domain for a while now. So today I’ve decided it’s time to sell. Both the logo and domain are for sale now, no content! Make an offer by emailing me at admin@jakeldaily.com. It will go up for auction in two days time on SitePoint.
Click, read full entry to have a look at the logo.

Good Luck with the name. The concept is good.
Pretty cool idea. Good luck, whoever purchases it.

The name doesnt stick though — my personal opinion.

What type of site would it have been (purpose)? I guess that would be the selling point and the drive behind it. I did a search for blogazette (well I checked godaddy first) and it seems someone has that name (close to yours).
I guess the whole point to my post is if you have a winning concept already laid out for the site then that would make it more valuable. It may be even better though to find a writer and establish the blog and then sell it. I have some ideas and if you are interested Jason send me an email.
nice logo..but dunno about the domain thought
I liked the logo/concept in the beginning and it has grown on me since I’ve scrolled down to comment.
Sounds like a good idea, in any case i think the blogging community is fairly close knit. The name would need some work though?
It has a great advantage. The name rolls nicely on the tongue. As silly as it may sound, this is a very important requirement as tongue twisters tend to put people off.
Good luck on the sale.
Thanks for the input so far. I have not actually put it up for auction yet maybe I will get around to it next week.
Have you gotten any offers yet Jason?
Somehow it does not interest me much. Did you sell it yet?
A good idea to try and sell it on if you have no use or time but i think James has the right idea with maybe establishing some content on the site first. An active blog will probably attract more bids as there is more room for development of the site with ads etc. Best of luck.
Nice logo there, neat & clean~
good idea. I have already stumbled upon something like that on livejournal.com. They collecled the top posts of the day, sorted them by topics and voila: the newest issue of livejournal daily!
Honestly, I think this has the potential to be a real winner mate. I hope someone with the time and passion to spare grabs this one and runs with it.
