Report A Site Problem – Giving Credit
Yesterday I was emailed from my contact form “report a site problem” from Adam the editor of TheAdambox and Blogbait. He reported this problem after reviewing my site for the review linkback promotion.
Message:
I would highly recommend getting rid of payperpost, I was going to comment on a few of you posts, but gave up since it took about 30-60 seconds for payperpost to finally reply while trying to bring up your site. Many others such as JohnChow will not use it because of the same issue. I have DSL and it is definitely payperpost that is slow.
If there are any site problems you are aware of or things that you would like to see made better then just email me and I will definitely give you credit if I use your recommendations.
I have already noticed that when I use AuctionAds’ javascript in my main index it also makes the site load slower and that is why I have changed to Chitika ads.
Once again thanks Adam for the info.

[...] not the only one… fellow bloggers JaKelDaily and AdamBox (nice catch, btw) both have reported similar frustrations with PayPerPost’s [...]
Nice catch all around. I simultaneously noticed the same issue on my Smart Guy blog.
It’s also great that your giving props to Adam. It’s good for the community and says a lot about your character.
Cheers!
Hey… where does the “Notify me of followup comments via email” checkbox come from? Is that a plugin, or an option that I’ve missed in WordPress?
I guess you fixed it because it’s loading very fast over here. I’ve seen other sites with that problem though.
Yes the site is working much better now and I am thankful for the tip. I think the notify me via email is the plugin called Brian’s comment thread I have it listed here: http://jakeldaily.com/more-wordpress-plugins/
I try to be fair in all aspects of running this blog and expect the same in return from others (referring to the rude blogger) http://jakeldaily.com/110/
Nope, that’s not it. Or, at least, if it is, I’m being really dense, because I’ve had Brian’s Threaded Comments installed for years. I’ve verified the versions also… no luck.
Humph.
Aha!
Could this be it?
subscribe-to-comments plugin
Do you have that installed?
I do have that one installed I just checked: Allows readers to recieve notifications of new comments that are posted to an entry. Based on version 1 from Scriptygoddess By Mark Jaquith.
I read online (computer problems) positive feedback on your resource. Do not even believe it, but now convinced personally. It turns out I was not deceived.
Fully agree with you, about a week ago, wrote about it the same in his blog!
I almost accidentally went to this site, but stayed there for a long time. Delayed, because everything is very interesting. Be sure to tell you about all my friends.
Good post! I found for myself a lot of useful new and interesting! I’m going to link to other ladies in ICQ
Aha, now it is clear … And then I just not very much and did not understand where is the link with the very title …
Informative, but not convincing. Something is missing, and what do not understand. But I will say frankly: – light and benevolent thoughts.
I subscribed to the RSS feed, but the message for some reason in the form of some characters How to fix it?
It is interesting, but still would like to know more about it. They like!
