Quailty vs Quantity Blog Posting
It seems that many people get caught up in the idea that the more they post the more money they will earn. This is not true at all and is actually far from it! It is common to think but there are many factors besides the quantity you post and the truth is there is really no correct answer to this question. As with most things in life it’s just one man’s/women’s matter of opinion on that particularly subject.
Ok obviously the larger your blog is the more chances you have at making more money. With that in mind say you are posting 5 to 10 articles a day and still no money in your pocket. What do you think the problem is then? Really simple right; no one is clicking, buying or even asking for paid reviews from your site.
But you are posting mega tons to your thriving blog! I’m willing to bet your dad’s chicken that it is more than likely mega crap you are posting with bad ad placement and people are coming and then leaving within seconds, never to return again.
Yes, it’s true a major contributing factor to a blogs revenue success is the posting of articles and the more (Quality posts) not (Quantity crap) you post spread out thought the day the more successful your blog will become. Because the more you post the more potential entry points you have to your blog via search engine referrals but like I said above if you are posting mega crap then you will get the search engine referral and know profits because the reader will not stay at your blog to see your dad’s chicken picture.
Something to think about if you are a new blogger and part time at that, is focusing on one Quality post a day 6 days a week and making sure your ad placement is formatted in a professional manner not detouring from the article itself. I’ve seen many blogs on the net that have been going at it posting their mega crap for 6 months to a year and they do not even have the amount of readers/revenue I achieved in less than two months.
A word of wisdom: write quality not quantity and in time maybe you will achieve a full time blogging position. Then you will be able to post more articles daily that people will want to read.
- From time it doesn’t hurt to ask people what did you think about the article?

Wholeheartedly agreed. Quality yes, quantity maybe. “Content is King” isn’t a cliche for nothing.
One good post a day, and I’ll pay attention.
One good post every other day, or even every third day, and I’ll remain a feed subscriber.
One good post a week amongst 3-4 uninteresting posts, and I’ll remain a subscriber until my patience runs out. Unless the one good one is THAT interesting.
6 lame posts a day and one good one? Sorry. I stopped reading and started deleting right around lame post #4.
The right plugins: have you already checked the ones I have listed?

My question now would be, how am I doing so far on my personal blog attempt.
For new bloggers: you may have TONS you want to say – but better to keep it at 1-2 posts a day… when I go to your site and there are 5 new posts, I may not read past the first couple!
I think one of the mistakes I made when I first started my blog is making too many posts. I was writing and writing with no one reading, so now I’ve slowed down a little and this is when a little more traffic starts coming through, but they aren’t looking at my first (and good
) posts.
Well what I would do is take that ton of information and start time stamping it to post an article a day, if you are using Wordpress
Your dad’s chicken?
That’s a new one!
Yeah, I’ve learned to slow down and post quality stuff…
By the way, the Kontera guy just emailed me and I’ve made my pitch.
Let’s all pray!
