My 7 Personal Values To Live Life

My 7 personal values that I live a better life from are Integrity: Do the right thing! Courage: Face your fears accept and take on new challenges. Passion: Live your life to its fullest potential. Contentment: Fulfillment of human needs. Action: Now is this best approach. Respect: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Expectation: Live with hope and set achievable goals.

  • 1. Integrity This is the most import value in my opinion and I consider it to be the foundation of achieving a better life. Integrity is the value in which a person’s character can be determined by others. People that hold high integrity portray this in their work and everything else they strive to achieve has a sense of superiority.
  • 2. Courage The moral and mental strength that allows for the acceptance of new challenges without regards to the fear that may lie beneath. Start a method of thinking boldly and greater results will follow in the recreation of a better life.
  • 3. Passion Live life to its fullest potential by taking an enthusiastic approach and start by becoming a self motivator. By keeping your mind constantly renewed at the highest possible level you will begin your path to happiness which in turn will empower your passion.
  • 4. Contentment The pursuit of contentment is a state of mind established by fulfilling your basic human needs. The basic needs that need to be fulfilled include; shelter, food, health, hope and love. Many studies have produced results showing that content people are more; energetic, decisive, trusting, creative, flexible and happy in society.
  • 5. Action Now not tomorrow an expression I use when I want something done and do not want to wait a lifetime for it. Nike’s slogan Just Do It! This is an excellent catchphrase do not wait until tomorrow when it can be accomplished today. Stop the procrastination and start taking action.
  • 6. Respect To treat people as you would like to be treated. This is of great significance in everyday life and without it life can seem intolerable at times. First establish self respect by determining your identity and value. Then begin respecting others by formulating a positive judgment about them by evaluating their character.
  • 7. Expectation Hope should be the number one tool for overcoming situations that life throws your way that seems discouraging. Hope can come in many forms; spiritual, people, events and family. Set the expectation and use the power of hope to drive this goal or inspiration.

Generally people that set values to live by are more successful in life and become an example to follow.  Some self improvement spokespeople say that if you write your values down on paper then you are on your way to success.  I do not agree with this at all, writing them down is the easy part in my opinion it is the actually doing part that shows success.  A piece a paper with some writing on it is useless if it is just collecting dust beside your bin at home.  So Just Do It, like Nike has been saying for years.

Wow, something unexpected when I was expecting some “Make money” kind of post.

Good to have such articles in between - to pull out our dirty mind (which will never get tired while thinking about money) and put it to work in some noble thoughts.

“dedication and commitment” is something comes in my mind whenever I think about what I am doing in life.

    Thanks -

Yes I write improvement, family, travel, finance and even car articles. Just depends what I feel like writing about that day. My site is a personal blog and it is just that a site that I use to write about things I like and yes some articles I post are about making money.

Not pertaining to you but in general it’s funny how some bloggers out there will categorize you as a money making blog only just because of a few articles on your front page and never take the time to view the entire blog for its full intentions.

Well… I know it’s not pointing to me. But I have browsed almost all pages of your blogs - including your age old posts in Feb to your personal picture with Kelly which explains who all is in your family… and forums etc…

But I believe whenever someone new will come here, he may be pulled by links to your personal life posts… He must have been pulled here because you were linked somewhere or the other in blogging, seo related posts.

And if you check out the layout of your website, “Make Money Online” is not only a major right side bar slot but also you have links all over related to blogging, link exchange and seo. So it’s but obvious for readers to broadly categorize this blog to “Money making ideas” blog.

read “he may *not* be pulled by links to your personal life posts…” - sorry for the typo - I am drinking :D.

Well actually it was not towards you at all as I am fully aware that you have browsed a lot of this blog. I read an article today that categorized top bloggers that make money from blogs.

Come to think of it I am not too concerned about those type of opinions anyway as long as I’m happy blogging and writing about what I want and so far people seem to like a big percentage of my articles.

I really need to face my fears and push harder with my goals. Sometimes I shoot down ideas cause I am scared it wont be realized.

Determination comes to mind - to reach a goal you have to ask yourself how determined are you. Like I said in my article people can say that writing a goal done is progress but in my opinion it’s not the progress starts when you actually put action to that idea or goal.

IMO, Determination and Persistence goes hand in hand while taking a task to the end.

Jason, Something wrong with this post’s layout. I can see large white space under embedded google ads which is not for all posts (few of them). This is not looking good - check if you can work on it.

You might have used tag it seems. Anyways, I am sharing the snapshot taken here http://www.merifiles.com/uploads/jakel.png

Yes I do everyday. My family and I live in Belgium at the moment have traveled to more than 10 countries, I work full time but yet have enough passion to put full effort into this blog which is a challenge.

My family and I define contentment. I take action ‘just do it’! It’s just good business to live your life with integrity, courage, passion, and respect for others.

Wow. This is really good! And yep, I was expecting something about “making money”… I would have to say that this is a lot better than that. I want to add one thing to your list, though: compassion.

    :)

Thank you for the comment and yes compassion is key.
