Microsoft adCenter Sign Up Get $50

Just signed up yesterday for Microsoft’s new PPC adCenter and received a $50 dollar credit towards advertisement after paying my $5 activation fee.  The ad setup is fairly straight forward and along the same lines as Google’s Ad Words.

What I did was just copy my exact campaign ad that I have setup in Adwords and place it into the adCenter campaign – a simple quick setup process.  However if you are in need of some help in the setup process they have some great information videos to guide you through the process.

Use promo code SRC0407V2
Promotional Guidelines: Offer valid only through August 31, 2007 (midnight Pacific Time), while supplies last. Promotional credit is valid only for new advertisers opening a new account with Microsoft adCenter. Promotional credit not redeemed in click spend will expire 90 days after sign-up. Advertisers will be charged for advertising that exceeds the $50 promotional credit. Advertisers will need to suspend their ads if they do not wish to receive additional charges beyond the free credit amount or after 90 days from sign-up. Promotional credit is only good to residents in the United States.

Targeted traffic an estimated 325 (CPC 0.10) clicks for the price of $5 activation including the $50 promotional code is the reason behind my decision for setting up a Microsoft adCenter PPC account.  If all goes well with the new Microsoft PPC I will be considering on keeping the account and continuing on with my campaign to go along with my campaign in Google Adwords.

Microsoft® adCenter can help you reach out to 99 million potential customers—83% of whom have recently purchased online¹—and an audience that converted to customers at a higher rate than Google in 4 out of 5 categories.

Considering those stats above having both a Google campaign and Microsoft campaign could be very beneficial to site goals giving you a much larger internet scope not just excluding yourself to Google customers

Bad so far only 3 clicks since 11 Jun so I only have around 45 days to spend the the free $50 does not look like it will happen.

Through 1&1 web hosting you can now get a $100 adcenter coupon. I tried and I have yet to spend anything. For some reason I’m just not getting any ads to show up despite the system telling me that there should be plenty. I guess they could offer $1000 in free money considering I have yet to spend $1 despite my hardest efforts.
