Looks like Flicklife is offering the shirt off their back to attract users. I’d have to test it out to see if their traffic is good.
I just started getting into movie making and am looking for motivation to use it as a means of traffic generation. My first priority right now is organic search engine optimization.
Very interesting method of making money and to get internet traffic.
The video you upload can also be put into video blogs. It is simple to start a video blog. Sinec rare in number, it is sure to be audience-puling.
Really amazing post…There are three ways to make money from your fully customizable FlickLife video; $6 for every thousand views, affiliate links added to video, and lastly major traffic to your site equals revenue if you video hits the big time on FlickLife.
The site looks good and has an awesome business model, but the truth is it’s as buggy as a Beta release.
I have an account with this site. Though my page looks great and the video’s listed all look to be fine, at random, some video’s will suddenly show a ‘run time of 00:01 where as they were showing a proper and true run time at an earlier point. This leaves them ‘unviewable. There are many video’s with this problem, just check out their home page of ‘latest uploads and check the run times on them. Re-uploading a video when this happens does not guarantee a fix either.
The site cannot load properly through an Opera browser running on XP and there are errors on way too many pages when accessing the site through IE, regardless of the operating system.
You cannot currently contact them for assistance. They will not reply to any email, whether it’s for help, feedback or offering to assist them. Comments made for video’s uploaded, work about 1 in 5 times only.
I smell capacity problems here and they certainly do not have the resources in place to cope with anything much.
