Make Money Diversify Your Revenue Basket
I know that I talk about many different subjects on my personal blog but you and I both know that my main focus is that I want to eventually make a lot of money on Ja Kel Daily Dot Com.
So I have my revenue basket assorted with many potentional money makers to include;
- LinkShare.com
- ReviewMe
- AuctionAds.com
- Text Links Ads
- Chitika.com
- Get My Ads (direct)
- Kontera.com
- AdSense
At this time I have chosen not to disclose an earnings report until I have reached my 6 month birthday of my blog, August 2007. The reason behind this is what I like to call an establishment period for those of us that do not already have an additional established successful website to bring in the needed traffic for a successful fast blog revenue start.
If you truly want to make money then start diversifying your blog with more than just Google AdSense eggs and start submitting your blog to more money making programs. Remember also if a program does not cater to the design needs of your site then try to use it anyway and figure out a way to make it look the way you would like it too.
At the moment there are eight sources for blog income running on this site. The key to making money on a blog is a nice diversified revenue blend and continuing to ad more sources without jeopardizing the overall user experience.

Wow! That’s alot of sources for your site, and the thing is that I hardly notice any running!
That’s some good blending in on your site.
Yes blending is important because if your site looks over done with ads,it puts people off and they leave.
Yeah, I joined Kontera and they accepted me and I’m already making money with them.
I just emailed them about if they have a referral program to speak of, because I saw that John Chow had us put his name in the notes section when I signed up under him.
I’ll let you know what they tell me, then maybe you can change your above link to get credit for those folks you send over to Kontera!

Ok good luck but they do have a 500,000 page views rule and I am sure you would have to meet some kind of top standard to make a deal with them.
Just like on The Chappelle Show, “If you’re tryin to get in the biz you gonna have to diversify your bonds son”
Currently, I’m only using Adsense.
It is good to not but all your eggs in one basket – but if you put them in too many baskets, it’ll take a long time for the cheques to arrive!
the only thing is in order to put your eggs in a bunch of different baskets.. you have to be approved by the basket makers
… and that’s sometimes difficult for lower traffic blogs.
My cheques all arrive by direct deposit or paypal.
I’ve tried many different ad networks, but for me Adsense performs the best. Google always has the best eCPM in my experience.
Yes Google is the best but when you combine the best with 2, 3, 4 or more networks you get paid 2, 3, 4 times more.
Yes sometimes the basket makers like to descrimnate against new blogs but they have good reason to since most blogs die out within the first two months or end up only posting an article when they feel like it.
Not good for keeping a higher standard for the network image but then again Google makes millions and they do care what you do on your blog for the most part.
Bottom line is if you want more revenues coming in then you have to keep working hard until you meet thier standards and in th elong run that only ends up helping out more.
Nice list! I hope to integrate them into my blog as well as you have.
