Get Paid with Blogging Review Services
This post is guest-blogged by Abhijeet from Life is Colourful, his personal blog.
I did not think much before replying Jason positively on writing a guest post. There are two reasons for that, first thing is I like visiting Jason’s blog and I would always like to contribute here specially when he is away on a trip to Romania, and second thing is I already have been thinking about writing on this topic. Jason gave an opportunity to word those thoughts on his blog. So here are my two cents on Paid Blog Review services.
Smorty:
It’s a Paid Blog Review service, but with a surprise for a blogger! You will have to create as many accounts as your blogs. Yes, you add two blogs and you will need two smorty blogger accounts. It may sound funny for you; even I was also confused at the beginning and kept on searching for an option to add another blog. Finally found a note on some help page that I would need to create another account for second blog.
Don’t expect very high paying assignments here. On an average $5-6 for paid review on PR3-4 blogs, which is actually less compared to another similar service, LoudLaunch. But their payments are weekly, so you would see some money every week in your paypal account.
You would be bombarded with 5-6 assignments in first week, and then be happy if you receive weekly one or two assignments in your mailbox.
LoudLaunch:
This service on paid blog reviews seems to be pretty new. Lound Launch just launched few months back and growing. I think their payout for blogs is directly proportionate to the PR. If you have PR3 blog, they will pay you $7.50 for every review and $10 for review on PR4 blog which is better than Smorty I think.
You may not find very exciting opportunities or assignments there, I have seen some cosmetic surgery assignment lying since so long and no one was up for it; rest of them were grabbed quicker. The availability of assignments is pretty low. But atleast you can browse and grab the assignments from the available ones on your own.
Good thing is you can turn on the mail notification for new assignments. May not be of much use for you if you don’t check your mails every hour or 2 hours, and probably will miss the assignment.
While you upload your blog, sit back and relax. They take considerable time to approve the blogs. I am still in a process to get my third blog approved.
Blogsvertise:
I rank the Blogsvertise service at second rank in review of four services today. There might be many reasons, but one of the most important reason is the personalized touch. Their support executive will try to help you going beyond limits for any issues. Atleast that’s what my experience says.
Overall payment for your review varies from $5 to $10 and frequency to get assignments is good enough. They have cool grab bag tasks, which are nothing but declined or missed tasks from other bloggers and you can grab them up apart from your assigned tasks. Their payments are after a month of posting.
Payperpost:
One of the best paid blog review service right now, mix of quality bloggers & quality advertisers. Here is what I like best about Payperpost:
- 1. Limit of two posts per blog everyday – This gives equal opportunity to all bloggers and not all the opportunities are hogged by specific group of all time online bloggers.
- 2. Blogs are reviewed manually – Yes, many of the services don’t do it. Here, if blog content is not suitable or looks like blogs are copy paste blogs, those are simply rejected which helps to maintain the quality bloggers network.
- 3. Enough opportunities or assignments available for bloggers everyday – You won’t like to wait for the assignments. This is what I observed while dealing with all the paid blog reviews services.
- 4. Very well managed service overall – No doubt, they are coming up so fast in this niche of online business.
- 5. Diversification of the opportunities as per your blog’s eligibility – You can atleast see which opportunities you missed due to lower PR of your blog, and you can see what you can get if you have better PR in next Google page rank update.
- 6. Payperpost pays $15 for “completed blogger referrals and $25 for advertiser referrals, I do have my blogger referrals reached to 3 digits by now, just waiting for them to be completed [Referrals need to be approved by PPP and paid once at least to be "completed referrals"]
I did not review to popular services here, ReviewMe and SponsoredReviews. Probably I would like to add those reviews in next update of Paid Blog Review Services at my website Life is Colourful or Colourful blog.

Thanks for the informative article on paid review services; Smorty, LoudLaunch, Blogsvertise which I have not checked out but will now.
I see that you like Payperpost (PPP) the best and this one I have actually taken a look at but because of load time when adding their script to my site I discontinued use of it.
This has been noted on many articles that the tinyurl when added to your site will increase you load time by 400% and some times causing it not to load at all (Wordpress blogs).
At the moment the only review service I use is ReviewMe and to be honest I have not been too happy with their service lately – customer service is unreliable and technical issues with accepting campaign offers.
Thanks for the info. I had only just tried PayPerPost and found it quite good. Will surely try the other 3 also now.
Yes you are completely true when you add the tiny url PayPerPost sign up form on the website. It takes lot of time to load. But when it comes down to available opportunities, they are the best till now.
Customer service is pretty fast as well. Here you kind of get a service coupon, and when your number comes, your query is answered. You can keep track of your coupon number on the support page.
The Payperpost tiny url slows the site down really bad to the point of making it not load. That is why I do not want it on my site or use their service.
what about reviewme. ive heard its also good. you should have included it in your reviews. hehe
* Sorry for the earlier duplicate comment.
Well, here the point is different. You may be thinking from the perspective of referral service [adding their sign-up form on your blog which takes time to load]. I am thinking from a blogger’s posting point of view.
The way ReviewMe pays few $$ for writing a post, same way PPP offers opportunities. The big difference is, ReviewMe does not let you choose the assignments from list of available ones but PPP does.
Again, PPP is loaded with assignments all time, so you never left out without work.
Yeah, sure! ReviewMe would be included in next update of reviews – Did I mention it at the end? :wonders:
I’m finding that most of the opportunities to be too low paid. I think you have to have a really good PR to make it worthwhile.
Which service you are talking about April?
nice review! I am waiting for the next review about “Blogging Review Services”.
They’re all too low paid. A lot of the opportunities are boring like cosmetic surgery and credit cards.
@ April: If you have PR6 and good technorati above, you can get $150-200 at PPP per review – It again depends on the advertiser’s requirements for the blog.
@Samuro: I shall have it soon after going through couple of more services like blogitive etc.
I have been with PPP for a few months now with a PR1 blog (Open Road Biker) and have made enough to pay my hosting for another year and some of my domain renewals. I was also able to pay for some graphics that I had made. I don’t do that many articles for them, just one every now and then but the minimum I have made is $5 but I guess I average $10 per article.
I recently got chance to review 2-3 opportunities for $15-$20 for one of the PR1 blogs – though I personally did not feel it was really needed to pay that high.
Hi! Have you been paid by Loudlaunch though? Their FAQ page states that bloggers are paid between the 1st-5th of each month for all posts approved between the 1st-20th of the prior month. It’s the 7th of January and I haven’t received my first payout of $75 nor have I heard a response from their customer service whom I’ve sent messages to repeatedly.
Good advice. It is always interesting to know more about the different online work options available and other people’s opinions of them.
