I wanted to keep this article short and to the point and the categories above are self explanatory. Remember building a blogging profile does not happen over night and those of you that are thinking a blog is the answer to quitting your day job should think twice.
My experience so far a total of 13 months counting the 2 months for this blog is that the opportunities are only now starting to come in for us. Opportunities will come but they come to those that are very persistence in this industry. Definitely not over night or a get rich fast scheme (dream).
A note to the wise: those that are making a killing in revenue have been on the net in some way for many years not just a blog.
Make Money with A Lasting First Impression
Do you want more traffic? One of the best ways to get that traffic is to get linked from other blogs. If your blog is new, most of the people coming to your site will not even know who you are or for that matter what you blog is about, so you need to make a great first impression. This was actually pointed out to me by a reader around three weeks ago when she told me that my header
image was very boring and my quote was to confusing so I changed it to the present Ferrari Header which has been making a good first impression ever since.
You only get one chance to make that first impression and you need to insure that you have your visitor’s full attention so that they stay longer than the estimated thirty seconds. This will also aid in getting other blogs to feel compelled to link to your site, which generates that traffic you want coming in. Here are some good tips that may help you out:
- 1. Include your photo: I do it with my top image header me setting in the Ferrari looking directly at the readers and another photo of my wife and me on the about page . There are millions of blogs out there floating around in internet space without an editor picture and name. Readers appreciate it if you have taken the time to show them what you are about and who you are. Make sure to make this easy to find on your blog do not hide it at the bottom surrounded by 100 ads.
- 2. Create an about page: This is something that every blog should have, detailed page that talks about you the editor of the blog. You can include such things as; accomplishments, failures, hobbies, interests, job and many more that you care to add. You are looking to make a connection with people and without this page how do you expect them to relate to you. You can make this page however you like as you can see I have not put accomplishments on my page I wanted to keep it short and I think reading a mile long list of accomplishment is boring.
- 3. Create a top posts page: A top posts page makes the statement to the readers that this is the best you have to offer. It makes it easy for readers to look down the list and pick out an article that most interested them instead of having to search forever for it. People want fast service their way – just like the Burger King motto “Your Way Right Away”.
- 4. Just be yourself: Last but not least it’s your blog and that gives you the right to write about anything you want. I’ve said it before now I am saying it again never distort your views and opinions on an article just because you are afraid of what someone may say or an advertiser has paid you for the post. The best policy is just being yourself, open and upfront with your readers. Once again never be afraid to write what you want. Your blog belongs to you no one else.

It seems that everyone wants to become a Google Bitch and make loads of profit for them and then take their small percent of AdSense profits. Some people go as far trying to webmaster around 50 niche websites to make money with, wow the extreme of some people.
Here’s the tactic that some people attempt and think will make money mega money for them. They assume that if they have 50 sites times’ 100 page views that will equal 5000 page views a day – mission accomplished somewhat, right. Let’s see nope because AdSense works off page views for each particular ad so if you are only making .01-.05 cents per website your maximum daily profit grand total is $2.50. Wow I am ready to quit my job already anyone care for a .99 cent burger on me?

Becoming a Google Bitch has never been about how many websites you are running. What is the key to Bitch success – Traffic and loads of it? An easy concept to understand a site with minimum to no traffic will make nothing for you or your Google AdSense King.
Here’s an example ratio: 100,000 page views equals around $375 – $500. Now with your new found mathematic statistic of how much you will make determined by page views you can calculate what is will take to make you an ultimate Google Bitch and drop your two weeks notice at your day job!

What else could be done to help out with getting more page views? How about sending out emails to technology sites or websites that have something similar to your site and request that they mention your site or give you a news plug-in. On the net there are many sites out available for most all areas that your sites content is about. So go to Google and start searching for them and get your traffic because Google is depending on you Bitch. Incase you are wondering what is a news-plug-in: basically that site will put a link to relative articles from your site on their site for people to click and read, which gives them filler content they need for their site. In return you get the free traffic that you need for your site.
Unique Content Not Free
Say it isn’t so people out there in the blogger hemisphere are using free article services! Untouchable really a lose for words. Short and sweet unique content – means you have to write it and do your on research. You virtually do not have a chance in hell of getting a free article plugged by a third party news site, so why bother. Besides most of these articles are crap not original and do not have the personality that you bring to your blog. So forget about using them or you can forget about your Google Bitch Dream.
Links Important to You & Google
The key here is back links to your site. A back link is a link to your site for which you have not trade links with plan and simple. I’ve been ask before about my make money reviews and it’s importance: two reasons I am doing it; Technorati Score and More RSS Readers the link exchange reviews will not help with my Google Page Rating.
In closing since I know many may not read the entire article; start with one site, original unique content, back links, new plug-ins, and work your Google Bitch A** off.

I’ve been using the competitive ad filter for quit some time now and I was thinking that maybe not everyone knows about it and how it works. My article about Diversify Your Revenue Basket a lot of people responded that Google AdSense was the major income revenue of choice for their blog. So with that in mind lets start getting the most out of it. The purpose of the ad filter is is enables you to block out specific ads, such as competitor’s ads and site that are Made for AdSense (MFA).

Google at the moment allows you to enter up to 200 URLs and by taking advantage of this ad filter you are able to increase your sites revenue because you are blocking out those arbitrager sites (MFA).
Made for AdSense & Arbitrage what are they? Well basically they are the sites you have probably stumble upon and seen nothing but AdSense and know other content besides the advertising. If you are still unsure I posted an example below of a MFA 8-top-sites just the header no content and just advertising.
How are you the blogger affected by these sites! The traffic generated by advertising from Google AdSense and many other PPC services is sent to the MFA. What these sites offer are really low CPC rate so that they get the traffice for really cheap. Confused a little yeah me too, make it easier understood have you ever noticed a click in your AdSense account that was for 1 to 5 cents the chances are it has come from a MFA site.
- MFA will bid minimum for a keyword
- MFA shows on your site
- MFA ads gets clicked (1-5cent profit for you)
- MFA nothing but ads (they make $1 or more)
This process above known as PPC arbitrage effects your AdSense income and it also creates a poor user experience causing your site to look bad. Google is already aware this and yes it is against their policy but they are making loads of money so you do the math and how long it will take them to do something about it.
So now that you are aware of these profit thieves it’s time do something about it. By using the competitive ad filter you are able to block out many of these sites. To block out one of these MFA sites all you have to do is enter the URL into the AdSense filter and then presto they are block from showing ads on your site.
Now I am not stating that you have to search the net over for these MFA sites. A website called AdsBlackListhas already made it easy for you. They have a long list of MFA sites that you can copy after signing up and add them to your Adsense Filter List to block out maximum 200 that Google allows. You can always modifly that list with other sites you come across as long as stay with the maximum allowed for the Ad filter.
The Ads Black List is extremely easy. Just enter your site URL and click the Get Black List button. The once you have the list just copy and paste all those URLs into your Google Competitive Ad Filter (AdSense). In most cases takes up to 12 hours before Google will start blocking the ads from the sites you placed in the filter.
Now that you have blocked them out, you will soon realize that your AdSense will start to payout more revenue (some cases tripled earnings) because your site will start serving to higher yielding ads that will make more money for your site.
Make Money – The Power Of The Anchor Text
Well, those of you that have been reading daily already know that I am attempting to get listed on the first search page via Google for the term “make money.” I have not yet accomplished that but however yesterday I noticed that I had made it into the top three for another term “linkback review” on the first page.
I am on page 1 of Google for the term “linkback review” in the position of three and four. Yes guess who I am directly behind for the first position and second position “John Chow”. Not bad I say since I’ve only been at this for two months now and already third in the race for this Google search term.
So how does this translate as far as getting more traffic flow? I checked with overture keyword search program and there are no static’s for this search phrase as of now. I am thinking though that maybe eventually when this linkback review catches on with more people across the net that maybe the static’s will increase for searches of this term.
When choosing an Anchor text the best way to find out is by using a keyword tool like Overture and with a little research you can find a suitable anchor for your site. If want to try out Overture it’s free but doesn’t give you much information other than how many times that keyword was searched over the previous month. Another way to choose an anchor text would be to look at what terms are being searched for your site now by using Google Analytics and using different variations of those terms to improve your search page rankings. There are others out there but you have to pay for them, so I’m assuming you like free stuff like me.
How ever if did want to pay for a keyword research service then Wordze is designed to give you the ability to analyses the entire net universe and see what people are searching for everyday. They have a one day trial membership for $7.95 or monthly will cost you $35.
After you have decided on an anchor text for you site you must ensure that some of your posts on the front page have the targeted term keyword in them. Although I have not successful come on the front page for “make money” I have come for “linkback review” and that is because my front page almost always has at least one linkback review on it. I think with the “make money” term there are more people fighting for it so it will just take some time before I am able to beat out those other make money hungry people out there.
Also if you have not already noticed it’s a good idea to have your keyword choice somewhere in the title of your site: Make Money with Ja Kel Daily Dot Com. Remember always strive to take a creative approach to all your blogging efforts and the rest will eventually follow.

Make Money Review My Blog Negative vs Rude
One review has been removed due to the person being rude about my wife and me which I will not allow on our site. If you want to be negative about the site that is fine as long as their are no bad words (swearing) and it is somewhat constructive. Our policy states positive and negative but does not state rude comments and they will not be allowed. If you are a site that makes fun of other sites that is fine as long as you state that is what you are going to do. We have not got time for people that have nothing better to do with there time and if you think bad comments or rude reviews will pass through on our site think again.
I have already given an example that I will approve if the only thing you know how to write are rude remarks. If you choose to write a review there is a difference between negative and rude remember this when writing the reviews and the review will be approve. Make Money Review My Blog

At this time I have chosen not to disclose an earnings report until I have reached my 6 month birthday of my blog, August 2007. The reason behind this is what I like to call an establishment period for those of us that do not already have an additional established successful website to bring in the needed traffic for a successful fast blog revenue start.
If you truly want to make money then start diversifying your blog with more than just Google AdSense eggs and start submitting your blog to more money making programs. Remember also if a program does not cater to the design needs of your site then try to use it anyway and figure out a way to make it look the way you would like it too.
At the moment there are eight sources for blog income running on this site. The key to making money on a blog is a nice diversified revenue blend and continuing to ad more sources without jeopardizing the overall user experience.

The title of my article is merely me testing out posting an article (SEO) with my anchor selection make money to see how much it helps my ratings for the searches of Google. I’m no SEO expert but all I can really say that I am in a learning process and I know that others are using keyword anchors and becoming successful in their search rankings from Google.
I have a suspicion that SE’s like Google have well over a hundred factors that determine the ranking of sites such as the outbound and inbound links.
From experience I can say that the titles (tags) of your articles are very important and when the keywords are searched you will receive more hits depending on the title of your article. An excellent tool to use for monitoring your keyword progress, page views, and just over all performance of your site is Google Analytics and it’s free.
I’ve been using it from the start of my blogging hobby and it has prove very useful in this area. As you can see from the screen shot that I’ve uploaded I had 285 page views for 20-3-2007 with a 67.24% return visitor ratio. Since I know my return visitor ration I therefore know that my readers must like what I am doing so far. The software also gives a breakdown percentage of where the page views are coming from which is nice to know also. If you are not using Analytics you can sign in by using your Google account or sign up if you do not have a google account, it’s been a great help for me so far.

Guidelines from a SEO perspective include; to many links can be frowned on by SE’s, keep them relevant – similar to your site, appropriate keywords (anchor text) and links from high rankings sites will all have an impact according to the principals of SEO. My opinion for me is that I only follow two principals choosing an appropriate keyword that I want to be searched for and keeping it somewhat relative – all bloggers. I also like the idea of having all high ranking sites linking to me because I know that will have a definite impact on traffic but the fact is that not all high ranked sites like me yet.
