Whether you are an experienced blogger or new looking to attract interest in your blog post there are few things you definitely can not afford to miss! Losing potential readers to competitor blogs and wasting your time on ineffective articles.      

Regrettably, this is something that continues to take place everyday. So why is it some articles do well while others fail? Some may say it’s due to their lack of knowledge of editing.  When in fact what successful blog editors do is follow a strategic plan of writing effective articles the pre sell the advertisement (affiliate).

There are many important aspects that go into producing an effective blog post. Before you begin writing any pre sell article take a few minutes to ask you’re the following questions:

• Is the article targeted to the reader?
• Does the article have a unique factor?
• Is there a motivation (urgency) incentive?
• How does article compare to competitors?
• Does it generate curiosity?

In order for your article to be effective it must be more than just creative.  Think of reasons why you would buy (or did buy) this product/service and start listing those reasons. When listing these reasons for purchase what you are doing is adding more value to the Why factor, it serves as the driving force behind the readers response.

Headlines
One of the most important essentials in creating an effective article whether it is for selling or just informative.  The headline is sometimes referred to as the voice of the article. It pulls the reader into the article (get to readers to keep reading): “Get 120 Back Links in 24 Hours!” Rather than using: “Blog Network Get Backlinks” 

Keywords
Consider these keywords when writing your headline: How, Get, Do, Why, Save, Fast, Limited, Guaranteed, and Now.  Those keywords are just a few that work well in headlines and just keep your eyes open for the next time a headline grabs your attention!   

Visual
There are no set rules of where images must be placed in your articles.  However, when selecting images (screen shots) relevant to display the product/service I recommend that they be placed at the top of the article or in the middle.  My experience (as well as others) shows placing images in articles will enhance your message as well as grab the reader’s attention into the article.
Body  
Ok, you’ve accomplished getting the reader past the headline into the body of the article, the energy must continue throughout the post with each written word satisfying their every desire. Things to remember; keep words simple and to the point, make lists (bullets), offer benefits, testimonies, keep paragraphs short and avoid over writing.     

Ask
Create a sense of urgency, but remember to give a valid reason as to why they should act now.  Remember people love deals/bargains! If a discount is available take advantage of it and let the readers know that there is an expiration date to the offer and it will not last.  Remember to ad details of how the service/product can be obtained and then ask the reader for the sale!

If so the procedure to correct this is simple just use the minimum price attribute to eliminate low-price ads (example above) and then your ads will only show bids that are equal to or higher than the amount entered. If you want a higher or lower amount just changed the number to that amount. 

There are two other methods for AuctionAds optimization that I do not recommend due to inconsistency of them working internationally and I haven’t had personal success with them. Stop words (negative keywords) and ad rotating by use of multiple keywords.

After you have made any changes it will take few minutes for it to kick in because of the cache on the AuctionAds servers – just be patience.

A recent review of my site stating that my personal posts takes away from my specialized focus of making money online made me realize that I have been giving the wrong impression by using the title make money online and since then I’ve taken it off. 

To make money blogging is great concept but in reality you have a better chance selling hotdogs in Chicago. My goal of making money from blogging has always been last because if it were first then I would have quit from day one.

Blog defined: A blog (a portmanteau of web log) is a website where entries are written in chronological order and displayed in reverse chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog. Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries.

The key word from the wikipedia definition is personal diary and I personally think that people do seem to forget this. Ja Kel Daily is my personal blog for which I use to write about what I want and has always been this way and the result is that I make money blogging in the end. 

The reason that 99% of people fail that attempt their fate at blogging is that their main reason is money. I can assure that with a full time income of well over $80,000 my motive for blogging has never been money and it has always been last on the list. Blogging is a hobby to me that may one day lead into more. Why did I monetize the site? Easy start as you mean to go on that way people do not complain later on about advertisements on your site.

When deciding on a topic for your blog you must find an area or areas that you are passionate about.  My site you will notice that I have categories that include; cars, family, make money online, talk and more.  These are all areas that I post on because I am passionate about them and want to share with readers. 

If I were to start another make money blog then that is what it would be and there are millions of them.  I have started a blog and according to the definition; a personal diary for which you share with a willing audience.

Your personal blog there is only one online not millions. Remember this and forget about making money from blogging save it for last and eventually you will make it into the 1% category of blogging.  

I’ve been marketing on the internet since 1996.  11 long human years, and it feels like a century in web years. That means I’m old…real old.  I can pull my green checkered pants up high on my chest, tighten my white leather belt, adjust my bifocals and yell at you kids to get off my lawn!

And screw jobs would edit them, steal them and mess with them.  Piracy was rampant.  People would steal your ebooks along with the dancing baby and spinning earth widgets on your website!

Everyone zoomed along with 2800 baud modems.  But a few of us had vision.  I remember in early 1996 I interviewed several millionaires on the telephone on a huge conference call.  I had the audio cassettes transcribed by a local girl  (there was no Elance in those days!) and then given away on one of my earliest sites.  More than 12,000 people downloaded that transcript in ‘96.  Those were record numbers back then!

And then I broke new ground.  A young upstart company called Real Audio had a program to convert a sound file into an audio file that could be streamed over the “information super highway”.  That’s what we called the Interweb back in my day.  Read more

Just another day of blogging checking site stats, reviews, new readers, and brainstorming my next idea.  Keyword direct advertisement by analysis what is it?  When checking your site stats you will notice in most all analysis software you are able to see which keywords your site receives traffic from.

• 1. Check for the keywords that rank on Google’s first search page linking to your post.
• 2. Idea keywords products and services.
• 3. Email those companies explaining who you are and what you would like to offer them.
• 4. What you are offering an advertisement space either text link ad with in that post or a banner ad.
• 5. Find companies that relate to the keyword or keywords and email them.

Example Keywords:
This site’s New 335 BMW Convertible post comes up on Google’s first page for these search terms: “335 BMW” “New 335”  “335 i convertible”.  Ja Kel Daily Dot Com is index really well for these search terms and if marketed properly they can prove to be very profitable.

More than likely the first company that comes to mind is BMW.com in my example but do keep in mind that there are a lot smaller fish in the sea that you can real in much easier than those whales out there.

If you have a blog, then you probably encountered several times the well-known advice that you have to post regularly, in order to keep your audience. You also know some tricks on how to manage this when you also have a job, school, children, or other duties that may prevent you from writing.

There is a tool which was not so much mentioned, but it is worth trying: host a blog carnival. Blog carnivals are regular posts which gather articles on a given topic, submitted by their authors. Here’s how to get a blog carnival up and running:

• 1. Sign up for a free account with BlogCarnival.com
• 2. Browse the list of all existing carnivals and try to find a niche for your future carnival (it is better to be related to your blog’s topic). If you want to get more buzz around your carnival, you could use Technorati or any other tool to see which are the most popular searches.
• 3. Find a good name for your carnival. As there are now more than 1500 carnivals registered, you have some competition here. Try to make it clear from the name what is it about.
• 4. Follow the instructions and set up your carnival (it is very easy and the instructions given on BlogCarnival are precise). Set the limit date of sending the posts one or two days before the publishing date, so you have a time buffer there.
• 5. Promote your carnival: write a post about it, inviting your readers to submit their articles, or tell your friends, or write in forums about it.
• 6. As people submit posts for your blog carnival, you’ll be notified by e-mail. After the submission deadline, you’ll receive an e-mail from BlogCarnival, containing a great tool: InstaCarnival.
