Canary Wharf London - Motor Expo

In London 14-21 June and today my wife and I went to the Motor Expo that I talked about 15 May.  A very small expo compared to some others that we’ve been to such as the one in Paris France.  One of the main reasons we decided to catch the show was the new Audi A5 which to our disappointment was only at the expo for one day on Monday so we missed it.

P.G.O Cevennes a French sports car with attitude. This car caught our eye for two reasons; it’s in our price range 30,000 pounds and it has a classic striking look to it. To be honest I had never even heard of the make before today and now it’s in the considerations books for purchase sometime in the future.  Specs: 4 cylinder, Peugeot engine, 134mph top speed, 0-60 6.8 sec and 17″ alloy wheels. The Jag, Audi, and Alfa are just a few of many beautiful cars that were on display at expo. See pics below:

Afterwards my wife and I went to Beach Combers a great sea food restaurant in Greenwich that we occasionally have a bit to eat when we are carving seafood. If you are ever in the area I recommend trying it out.

I saw the PGO Cevennes too, they said that it’s new in England this week. Stunning car and reasonable price. I have booked a test drive.

The only draw back of the overall look of the P.G.O. were the dashboard colorful buttons which looked cheap to us but I do think that would be easily changed.

It is a great looking vehicle, but how reliable are French cars? Not knocking it, just seems the French are not known for automotive excellence. Also, what about service?

    Good Luck.

That some of the same thoughts I had but if it’s not your A to B car and just a weekend car from time to time then maintenance would be low anyway.

Are you sure that’s an Audi A8? The A8 always use to be a 4 door sedan.
