Blogging from Constanta Romania
I’m back and blogging from Constanta, Romania now! Before I left I had the impression that things would be extremely busy/fast passed and it would be near impossible to keep up with daily posting on my personal blog.
Well I’ve since then found that I will after all be able to keep up with work during the day and still have a fair amount of time in the evening to post my daily articles to the site.
World Geography Education:
Constanta is Romania’s second largest city and also hosts Europe’s south eastern entry port harbour located along the Black Sea capable of receiving the largest ships between Europe & Asia as well as the main port used for transporting crude oil/containers benefiting many international operators.
A few sites from Constanta, Romania and if the project lasts the full amount of time my wife (Kelly) will be flying over for a week and we plan to travel to Bucharest, Romania (the capital of Romania) for an extended weekend.

Damn Jason, you made sure that we will not miss you. Romania beaches certainly looking good… constructions are looking pretty age old.. is it so… or that’s the way they are built.
Cool, nice to hear that you would not have hectic schedule over there, have a nice stay.
Those pictures are awesome! I never knew Romania was like that!
they are some nice snaps you’ve taken there. romania look sunnier than i’d expected
Fantastic photos!
Can we join you?
Yes it’s sunny everyday so far with an average temperature of 37′C. Not all of Romania is like Constanta - it is still a third world country. This area just happens to be the countries second largest city.
-yes architecture looks this way through out the country.
I think you headed to a nicer part of Romania than me. I was visiting friends in the North near the boarder of Ukraine and it was more reminiscent of the opening scenes of Borat than your photos.
Yes that’s what I was explaining above about Romania being a third world country and Constanta is second largest city. However there is a load of rubbish everywhere and the city is extremely dirty.
–Maybe when I have some time later I will post some more pics that show this since I posted pics of the nicer areas.
Unfortunately the ‘third world’ part is true, I found your blog by mistake and saw you blogging from Constanta.
Hope you’ll like Bucharest better, if you have a good guide, he/she’ll be able to keep you off the ‘third world’ part of the city.
Lots of good pubs, too, many places for expats. If you need some tips, do tell.

Mamaia Beach in Constanta is very nice. The weather is great also plenty of sun everyday so far. Every country has its bad and good areas.
The picture are so refreshing i hope to visit the place one day.
Thanks for sharing your travel pictures! I didn’t know Romania is soo gorgeous place.
I forgot what I was searching for on the web. I came across these pics from my home city. I haven’t been there in years but it still looks beautiful. Thxs for reminding me I should go back to visit the family.
Wow! I’m going to be staying in Constanta near the beach for the next 6 months. I leave Frankfurt Germany on 2 June. Who knows…maybe we can get together for a brewsky or 2.
Wow that’s a nice shot you’ve given, never knew that Romania is so marvellous! thanks for the photo…!
Wow! I never know that this part of Bulgaria is so cool! My friends from western Europe - read history! This part of Romania was Bulgarian before 60 -70 years. Macedonia, western Serbia and Egeyan Macedonia too! In this teritories live above 2 000 000 Bulgarians! You just dont know what national catastrophy suffered Bulgaria in the past century and how that so called Balkan “brothers” - our neighbors teared appart the strongest and bigest nation in eastern Europe - The third Bulgarian kingdom! Read history of eastern Europe - you will discover very interesting things:)

Third world is not criticism and has nothing to do with how dirty a country is etc etc it has to do with the amount of income a country produces and that’s it. Try reading a little (definitions) before making hasty comments on someones site that clearly had already made several compliments about Romania in there post and through comments.
Dear Simeon, u got it all wrong. Dobrogea, the part of Romania in which Constanta County is placed wasn’t actually ever part of Bulgaria. I think u should read some objective history books, cause the true is that Bulgaria has been given after the 2nd World War a good sized romanian teritory called Cadrilater. It just happens that Romania lost after the 2nd World War some of its territories including Bucovina, Basarabia, the so called Serbian Banat and Cadrilater (nowadays part of Bulgaria!). So good luck with ur research and in the future try not to spread the word before checking whatever u stand up for. Anyway ur name sounds quite bulgarian and ur own extremely nationalist view on the “Great Bulgarian Kingdom” and on the history itself has nothing to do with the reality!!!
Actually Bucharest is one of the dirtiest and ugliest city in Europe, not only Romania, unfortunately. Stay away from that city and visit other beautiful parts of the country.
