From Experiment to Profession
Back in 2005 we started a clothing company called Ja Kel (Trademark in UK) and it wasn’t long before the difficulties of getting established both online and in the public eye were reveled.

Through online research for different advertising methods we discovered blogs and made several attempts of getting our clothing line mentioned on various sites with moderate success.

It was in February 2006 when we started our experimental blog on blogger.com with the intent of driving traffic to our online clothing store.  The long story made short we made a judgment call and decided that we did not want to continue with the high risks involved in the fashion industry.

A realization occurred during the blog experimental phase the site was actually generating an income without all the risks of normal business ventures. Since then Ja Kel Daily has added geektalk, forum, shop sections and a full site design integration for both Blogger and Wordpress blogging dashboards into one easy to navigate site.  
   
Why Ja Kel Daily?
This site in the beginning started out as http://fashionbyjakel.blogspot.com and exactly one year later became http://www.jakeldaily.com after our decision to take our site to the next level.  Ja Kel an abbreviation of our names and of course daily because we post articles everyday on the site.
