Good article. I also posted an article about how to get free traffic for your blog.
I would add ‘Networking’ to your list – I know you have included link exchanges but I think networking goes even further; it encompasses really getting to know people and sharing ideas both new and old.

Hi Jason, great article. Thanks for taking the time to share this info with us, I think your comments on avoiding reclusion hit the target pretty well, and it’s something I’ve found myself doing on occasion. It seems easy for me to get obsessed with writing the next article or post and forget about the prerequisite marketing aspect.
What got you into blogging in the first place?
Warm Regards, -Matt
Hi Matt
Thank you – I got into blogging around a year ago when my wife and I wanted to promote some products. Then I started this site in February to blog about things I’m interested in and wife is still blogging about fashion & celebs on our first site.
