Best Wordpress Plugins
Since the launch of Ja Kel Daily Dot Com February 10, 2007 I have mange to install these plugins that are deemed to be some of the best available to enhance the Wordpress blog experience. The blog is up and running now with the exception of the about section and I will be adding it very soon. Thank you, to all Wordpress blogs and coders that have made this experience possible and special thanks to Sadish Bala for the mistylook-101 theme that is in the top ten most downloaded themes on Wordpress with a record of over 30,000, download!
Akismet Comment Spam Killer
This Plugin comes preinstalled with Wordpress, I activated it already so for the people waiting to start their comment spams you’ve been warned.
AdSense Deluxe
This Plugin is the easiest way to add adsense to your wordpress blog. The AdSense Deluxe Wordpress Plugin is what I use to control the Google ads you see on this blog. It also works for Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN), and is extremely easy to install and use. I’ve applied to YPN but yet to be approved for the beta release as of now but it is understandable considering that my blog is not bringing in high traffic. So just download, then unzip and upload to your plugins folder. The plugin will place an Adsense Deluxe screen in your Wordpress options panel and from there follow the given instructions to setup your desired ads, I use it for my 300×250 ads and the 468×60 ad I just input the google code into the main template.
Amazon Associates
This Plugin will serve the Amazon ads you see at the bottom of my posts in order to get this Plugin, you need to sign up and be approved as an Amazon Associate Ads publisher. Once you are approved, the Plugin that you chose from the link builder section will serve the text ads or text ads with pictures like I have. The links come in many different formats and are fully customizable to fit your needs.
Text Link Ads v2
This Plugin that serves the TLA ads you see under my featured sites in order to get this Plugin, you need to sign up and be approved as a Text Link Ads publisher. Once you are approved, the Plugin will then serve all the text ads and make you the money you deserve. I have to say that this is an excellent plugin and allows you access to a personal salesman (website) for your links section and you can use it on your blogger blog – Ja Kel Daily.
Google Sitemap Generator
A easy way to generate a Google Sitemap for Wordpress is with Google Sitemap Plugin. Whenever you update, or add new content to your blog, this Plugin generates a new sitemap for Google to use and will get you indexed by google much faster.
Wordpress Database Backup
This Plugin comes pre-installed with Wordpress and provides an easy way to backup your blog. You have a choice of downloading the backup file, or you can have it emailed to the address of your choice.
Related Posts
Available from Mr. Wasabi, it finds other posts that are related to your current post. A excellent way to generate more pages views and keep your readers on your webpage reading.
Recent Comments
This Plugin comes with Wordpress and retrieves a list of the most recent comments. Another way to increase page views on your site but as you can see at the moment since I just started this blog I do not have any.

A plugin that allows commenters on your blog to check a box before commenting and get e-mail notification of further comments. Brian’s Threaded Comments
“Reply to this comment” link to every blog comments. When you click the reply link, your comment is placed direct under the comment you replied to, great for readers questions cuts out the scrolling get the Plugin here!.
Optimal Title
I have not installed this plugin yet have not had the time to look at changing the required code. Anyway the Optimal Title function mirrors that of the wp_title() exactly, but moves the position of the separator to after the title rather than before and doing this should improve search engine rankings for your page.

Well the short story on is that it did not work when I activated and I never got around to looking more into fixing. Then I just forgot about it – to be honest. Took a look at it today and attempted again but still was not working right. Still looking into the matter.
Yes I do like it but just have not gotten it to work. – Ok I’ve changed my mind I do not like it’s leaves out some features that I like from the default one.

Brians threaded comments is a great plugin, i noticed you dont use all in one SEO pack plugin. I can highly recommend it, works straight out of the box with default settings and great for onsite SEO etc…. Thanks for the list above.. I havent tried optimal title plugin , but i think all in one seo covers this too if i understand correctly.

Domain information such as DNS, age of domain and even the expiration date are used to distinguish between illegitimate and legitimate domains.Why are google doing this? Simply to get all the factors they can to get an internal “trust score”.This “trust score” is used to eliminate “doorway” pages and spam in the search result.I’M not saying that it’s working perfectly – but they are doing a pretty good job.
